A podcast about current events, politics, religion, and culture.
The Nuance Hour is a podcast all about getting out of our filter bubbles, questioning long-held beliefs, and moving beyond labels to have cathartic conversations. We discuss politics, religion, current events, and culture. We attempt to embrace the shades of gray, question our assumptions, and think critically.

Trevor Adams
Trevor earned his PhD in philosophy from the University of Nebraska studying the nature and value of hope. One of his areas of specialization is epistemology, or the theory of knowledge, which is primarily concerned with the conditions of rational belief formation. Having taught numerous courses in logic and critical thinking, he will be focusing on nuance as a feature of rational inquiry.
Emily Fisk
Emily’s background is in political science, policy, and communications. She’s worked for congressional campaigns and has a Masters in Public Policy and Administration, and her undergrad is in rhetoric and composition. She also works in marketing, so she brings a communications-focused lens to these conversations, filtered through her policy and politics background.
Ken Wilson
Ken Wilson has no real qualifications or prior work experience—just decided to step in as a free editor. You can't say no to someone who works for snacks. If you have a problem with him doing it, fight him. (This is the bio Kenny wrote.)
Ken holds a degree in music from Boise State University and has a highly technical job Emily can’t describe but knows it has to do with computer chips. He also has an extensive collection of cables, boards, microphones, thingamabobs, whatsits, and hoozits. These skills and resources, combined with his good looks, make him the ideal editor and sound engineer for The Nuance Hour. He is paid in snacks, that part is true. (This is the bio Emily wrote.)
